What is the best dog food for my lab witskin analyzer onlineh skin allergies?

I have a yellow labrador retriever with skin allergies. I feed skin analyzer machine manufacturersher Science Diet for Sensitive Skin but it dosent work. What kind of dog food should I feed her?

Answer:
Maikang The best thing to do is to have the vet test for allergy. Skin symptoms are usually from an allergy other than food (pollens, molds, fabrics, etc.). Blood testing starts at around $125, and the immunotherapy shots are pretty reasonable-in the range of $20 for a multi-use vial. As far as food allergens, not all grains are allergenic-soy is the most common, corn is rather common, too. California Natural and Natural Balance Limited Ingredient are two of the best for food allergies, because they have very few ingredients, thus they contain less to be allergic to. Choose one with a different protein source than what the dog is currently eating.skin analyzer

Maikang I have found that California Natural Lamb and Rice works really well. It’s $50.00 for a 40 pound bag. I have a dog with food allergies as well as a few friends and it is great. You want to look for something that has as few ingredients as possible. A simple recipe. Alot of the crap dog food you find on a grocery store shelf for starters is old and it’s full of fillers, wheat, flour and junk like that. Read your labels. Your best bet is to go to a feed store, not a comercial retail chain. Good luck.skin analyzer

Maikang Dogs get food allergies based on exposure to the offending protein, and that can be a grain protein or a meat protein. The best wat to deal with this is to choose a protein that the dog would not have been exposed to in the past. This can be tricky, as this exposure is not limited just to your dog but it’s parents/grandparents.
Normally an elimination diet such as one protein one carb one oil like GO! Natural Salmon and Oatmeal, or California Natural Fish, Wellness Venison and Brown Rice. These are just a few.
As well an Omega 3 such as Salmon Oil act as an anti-inflammatory to reduce the itch.

Maikang Science Diet is a bad choice. What is she allergic to? A lot of dogs are allergic to grains. Try putting her on Innova EVO. I’ve heard a lot of great things about it from owners who have dogs with allergies. Some dogs are even allergic to lamb. You may need to mess around with some foods a bit before you get it just right.skin analyzer

Maikang Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I’d suggest you https://biturl.im/aUA9q

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.skin analyzer

Maikang Most vet dog foods are great. What most people don’t realise is that what they are feeding their dogs as treats are the foods that are doing the damage. Never feed a dog breads/grain food or anything else that is not in their food chain. We owners have a habit of giving the crust of toast to a drooling buddy thinking that we are doing them a favour, alas our buddies end up scratching themselves stupid as a result. Try your regular food and ensure that they are getting no extras or are not ‘scrounging’ for bad foods (especially on walks when they are good at finding eeuuuw things). Good luckskin analyzer

Maikang ~ You have 3 very good options.

1. Raw diet. Awesome way to go and sure enough it would help out your dog. www.barfworld.com

2. California Natrual- It is made by Natura. www.naturapet.com it is made for dogs with sensitive skin and stomachs. It is not a grain free food but has quality ingredients and no recalls or over processed fillers.

3. Grain Free food- This is food like EVO (made also by Natura) Orijen, Wellness Core, NOW (awesome food). Dogs on a grain free food do very well when they have skin sensitivities.

Science diet is one of the worse dog foods along with grocery store food. You over pay for the same garbage they sell at the grocery store for $5.00. The ingredients list is the same. Vets over sell that stuff for profit, there is nothing useful or good about it.

I would suggest looking into those three options as your best bet. Your dog will be so much better off once you get her off of Science Diet. The website for Natura will give a list of locations to buy Natura Products (EVO, Innova, California Natural, Karma) and those specialty pet boutiques will also carry the other foods I listed.

Additional info:

+All dog foods are not created equal. There is a huge difference in ingredients, quality of ingredients and company standards. When wondering what to get or comparing your current food it is best to do as much research as possible.

Your options are a raw diet, which is one of the greatest diets for dogs. To learn more go to www.barfworld.com. Raw really means nothing cooked; meat, bones and organs. This is not to be confused with allowing your dog to eat cooked bones, cooked bones are harmful, raw bones are not. This is the dog’s ancestral diet. If you think a dog should not be eating raw meat, go back and study wolves. Ask yourself what year was dog food made and then how long have dogs been around without our help of over processed dog food and gravy.

Another option is kibble and wet food. I think a good choice is both. Feeding Kibble 2x a day 12 hours apart and wet food 2x a week in place of 1 feeding of equal calories is a good balance. When you are looking for a healthy dog food it is important that not only the kibble be high quality but the wet food, treats and chews be high quality as well.

Foods to avoid: Pedigree, Beneful, Purina, Iams, Nutro, Alpo, Ol Roy, Mighty Dog, Ceser, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Purina, Royal Canin, Eagle Pack (not to be confused with Eagle Pack Holistic) and of course all grocery store brands i.e. Publix brand dog food, Winn-Dixie brand dog food etc.

These foods have low quality ingredients that can cause allergies, diabetes, bloat, overweight, oily skin, excessive and or runny stool and a myriad of other problems. Most of these brands are owned by companies like Del Monte, Proctor and Gamble, Mars and Nestle. Do you really believe that a company like Proctor and Gamble who makes beauty products, household cleaning supplies, baby items, prescription drugs and many others is the best suited company to make quality products for dogs? 50% of Mars is pet food, 45% is unhealthy snacks like candy bars. Does this sound like the best company to make dog food? All of these companies have one thing in common, they have the advertising to make you believe pictures of meat and veggies and healthy dogs running around on the commercials is what you will get. Knowing the truth about what is in these foods is devastating.

Quality dog foods: Innova, California Natural, EVO, Karma, Wellness, Wellness Core, Orijen, Canidae, Merricks, Artemis, Taste of the Wild, Nature’s Variety, Solid Gold-Barking at the Moon and Timberwolf.

Here are several websites to do your own research, which I highly suggest. A lot of questions here about dog’s health problems are a direct result of the food you are feeding. Read the ingredients label on the back, go to the website and see who owns the dog food, look up the ingredients and learn why it is used and what the pros and cons are. Changing to a healthy low grain, no grain dog food will relieve most of your dog aliments and give you a healthier and happier dog.

skin analyzerMaikang Munster’s is real good its all natural. Now I hear they have a trial for Prina to make healthy coats but I have used Munster’s for years and My 15 year old dog’s coat is shinny and she still acts like a pup too. I have found it at some feed stores and always find the smaller bags at whole foods.skin analyzer

Maikang Oooooooooh I have a great answer for this question!!!!!! My dog has verrryy sensitive skin, too. We can only buy one type of flea medicine to put on her or she breaks out! So I feed my dog Purina 1 salmon flavored for sensitive skin. I hope this works on your dog too!skin analyzer

Maikang Feed a strictly grain free diet, like a raw prey model diet.
