I didn’t further my biology studies after highschool.. however i’m an enthusiast so I read some books. a guy with MY background understands the concept well enough to accept it, yet a guy with such respectable degree, with his thesis being of sickle cell anemia (an example of natural selection in humans in africa, sadly) denies it in favour of a fundamentalist dogma.
in my opinion, he’s into it for the money, secretly laughing at his peers. your opinion?

Maikang I’m a Catholic, and the Pope accepts evolution. Kent Hovind is a moron and a fraud. His arguments are obviously contrived and totally illogical. Marian is awfully gullible to praise such a moron so highly. She doesn’t know the meaning of scientific theory, and evolution is a fact as well as a theory. It takes no faith to accept evolution, because there is overwhelming evidence for it. She’s just mindlessly repeating some of Hovind’s dumb rhetoric, like a parrot and making a fool of herself. As for Mr. Behe, people with high IQ levels may let emotions and feelings overpower their intelligence. Dr. Carl G. Jung said that no one can think and feel at the same time. When what he calls feeling, i.e. placing values on things, is in control, it strongly wants to believe certain ideas,so it’s extremely subjective and turns off the objective thinking function. A person possessed by feelings and emotions is blind to logic and reason and passionately wants to believe ideas that are all too often sheer nonsense, e.g. creationism and Intelligent Design that’s just a slightly more sophisticated version of what has been called creationism and then creation science. Some scientists compromise with creationism to become popular and make money. Perhaps only Michael Behe knows which alternative is true of him, but even he might not be aware of his own motivations. We all have our opinions and assumptions.
I believe in microevolution and not macroevolution
and people will rate me down and I really dont give a flying F***
They are two opposite things [micro and macro] and people will say they are the same but their not, and for those who do say they are the same are obvisously really ignorant and need to open up a science book or ask a scientist and they will tell you…

Maikang He’s intelligent enough to realize that this complex, wonderful world could not have developed from nothing. The “theory” of evolution is just that–a theory, and one that makes no sense at all when you look at it logically. It takes great faith to believe in evolution, more than I have.
