Maikang like you i refuse to be a sheep and follow the trend for orange skin. i much prefer the look of the classy ladies of the thirties and forties. I find that deep jewel like tones really accentuate my pale skin in the best posible way – emerald greens, peacock blues, ruby and magenta tones, deep purples etc cos i have blonde hair (with the slightest tinge of red making it a golden blonde) i like to wear deep greens or fushia pinks and strong purples as they contrast best.
