So as you know im 13, graduating the eigth grade: well i think im getting glasses. and one of my friends..well my “best frind”..was all ew your gunna be a dork…and personally i would rather wear contacs..but my mom wont let me. so..yeah. i dont think i loom bad in glasses..and my other best friend…

Maikang Oh glasses are so IN!!! I think theyre totally hot and sometimes wear the fake ones just for the whole sophisticated look even though i dont need them!
Anyone that says otherwise is either jealous, or living in a fantasy world where you judge people that wear glasses as ‘nerds’… NOT cool!!! Do not judge people by how they look, just who they are! Anyone that does judge by looks is not someone I would want to be friends with anyway!

i know high school can be a difficult time in life with all the pressures and ‘clicks’ an all! Just remember your true friends will stick by you and support you through it all… and they are the only ones that matter in the end! Trust me!

Most of the people I talked to, hung out with, had a lot of good times with in high school… i never even hear from anymore! Sad, yes… but thats life. School is so you can learn and go to college and make a lot of money so you can get married and raise children without struggling like a lot of families do, including mine!!

Maikang Nothing wrong with glasses. On most girls, it makes them look smart, which can be intimidating to a lot of people, especially guys. But if you play sports of any kind, I would definitely use that as a reason for having you r mom reconsider contacts.

Maikang glasses are FINE! I personally would rather see things clearly and avoid danger than worrying if i look like S hit. but IT’s FINE! get a pair of cute galsses. Maikang well I’m not sure about american fashion, but at the moment in england, it’s glasses with thick, rectangular frames.

i wear glasses for reading work. they have red frames and people think they look really cool.

just look around your opticians when you have your eyes tested, or if you’re not sure, ask a staff. they helped me pick my first ones, which were fashionable at that time aswell.

A lot of people wear them, its really no big deal. High school isn’t THAT quick to label people.
