How is PCR meskin analyzer softwarethod useful? [crime scenes] – PLEASE HELP!?

I mean I know people use it in crime scenes, but how doesskin analyzer system MORE DNA help exactly?

Answer:
Maikang Well PCR or Poymerase Chain Reaction is very useful in identifying the culprit. A very small DNA sample (e.g. from a spit or blood sample) found in crime scene is taken. Then with the help of PCR, several copies of the DNA are obtianed in the laboratory and compared with the previous DNA records. In this way a culprit is identified.
DNA can be collected from the spit, blood sample and hair etc. found at crime scenes.

Maikang Because when you have the DNA you’re going to have to cut it using restriction enzymes. If the suspects cut bands match the cut bands of the DNA that was found at a crime scene then it has been narrowed down to that particular person, however it might NOT be the same person because more than one person can have the same cut bands, his uncle, his brother etc.

So what they do is then take his other DNA split it and put them in 4 different test tubes. Each test tube contains adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine. dideoxynucleotides are also added but each dideoxy is different in each tube, one acts as an adeninie another for thymine another for guanine and another for cytosine, and it’s important to know that they’re not really any of these bases since dideoxy lacks 2 oxygens rather then one. So anyway a primer is added and DNA polymerase starts to build the split DNA that has been placed in the tubes, if one of the dideoxy binds instead of the actual A,C,T and G’s then it would act as a stop and the DNA will stop building. As a result each tube will have DNA fragments of different sizes, the fragements are run through gel electrophoresis and a more exact match of the bands A’s C’s T’s and G’s are viewed on a x-ray film. If there is a match you have the right suspect if not, then the actual offender has similar bands that were originally cut by enzyme restrictions but not the exact sequence of DNA. So really it’s needed for DNA sequencing and also they may need to refer back to the original DNA for other testings.

Lol I hope that didn’t confuse you, I tried to explain it as best as I could.skin analyzer

Maikang PCR relies on thermal cycling and is used to single or few copies of a piece of DNA across several orders of magnitude. Semiconservative replication describes the method by which DNA is replicated in all known cells. This method of replication was one of three proposed models of DNA replication, therefore you can’t compare the two. Semiconservative replication would produce two copies that each contained one of the original strands and one new strand. Conservative replication would leave the two original template DNA strands together in a double helix and would produce a copy composed of two new strands containing all of the new DNA base pairs. Dispersive replication would produce two copies of the DNA, both containing distinct regions of DNA composed of either both original strands or both new strands. Plus PCR is a process carried out externaly and dna replication occurs every time during meiosis and mitosisskin analyzer

Maikang Polymerase chain reactions create more DNA so that its more visible in the gel. if you just used the DNA that you found in the crime scene, you wouldn’t be able to see it, so they put it through a PCR, which copies the DNA many many times, and makes it so that you can see the bands in the gel with the naked eye.skin analyzer

Maikang PCR allows a bunch of “photocopies” of the DNA to be made giving the scientist a bunch of DNA to perform tests on.skin analyzer
