and such a nice change from the usual dark-torment-slit-my-wrists type.
It has a nice tentative ring to it, with the enjambments and casesuras, and i love the metaphors you use except possibly the wet swans which confused me slightly, though fitted in with the rippling.
my faverite bit is the ending, the imagery and the sensation of skin and flowers and wind. the beginning is also very good, with the factual naming…
